He was born in the Philippines while his father worked for the government and lived in various parts of the world from Guam, Italy, and Greece. His father retired from the government and settled in Carson City, Nevada. With his love for adventure, Bobby wanted to be a stuntman when he grew up. Playing with his mother’s VHS recorder, he would make small movies with his friends doing fight scenes, stunts like flipping off the roof of a home, and many trips to the hospital to get stitched up or get a cast for a broken bone.
His entire mindset changed when he was in a welding class in high school and the September 11th attacked happened. “I just couldn’t believe it. It really struck me deep. I felt helpless and wanted to do my part to stick up for this country, so I headed over to the Navy recruiter office in our hometown and joined the Navy.” Two weeks after graduating high school, he was off to Bootcamp.
Bobby served this great nation in a variety of missions abroad through seven honorable years as a Navy Search and Rescue Swimmer. As an aspiring social entrepreneur, Bobby is a highly active emerging leader in the local Charlotte, NC community. With his passion to cultivate lasting relations with local businesses and help them grow through his creativity and video production. He is also a graduate from The University Of Tampa with a BS in Entrepreneurship. He is also a pilot and an avid dog lover, so don’t be surprised if you catch him with his best furry friends by his side, Apollo and Titan
Corey Ramos is a Director of Photography based in Charlotte, NC. The film school graduate from East Carolina University has worked with an array of companies, spanning over various industries. His passion for film and video dates back to his childhood from creating small skits with friends to landing his first job at a cinema. With an early career in the music industry as a touring videographer, he has planted his feet in Charlotte to specialize in commercial branding with Starks Media.
Andrew Tomassi began writing at the age of 8, when he received his first diary. He found that the written word was the best way to illustrate exactly what was going on in his mind.
Andrew honed his creative writing skills through adolescence; crafting short stories, poetry, lyrics, horror films, and storylines for music videos. There was nothing he wouldn’t write about when he felt passion for the topic.
Andrew spent his early 20’s moonlighting as a stand-up comedian and writing his own material. While he no longer takes the stage to make people laugh, his writing often has a witty, tongue-in-cheek professionalism to it.
This lust for writing continued into his early 30’s. Andrew has written for Starks Media since 2019. He’s crafted humorous commercials for insurance companies, thought-provoking shorts, and even poems highlighting suicide awareness for a large hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. There’s no topic that Andrew can’t write about.
